Unfortunately, I'm currently busy in real-life so I apologize if I suddenly seem to vanish for months at a time. ^^; As a result, I might miss if you try to contact me, comment on my deviations, my work, give me a , or me. I also do not have any other form of contacting me nor am I on any other websites besides Chickensmoothie. Sorry :(

I am self-taught and I just do art for fun. I still have much to improve, especially when it comes to anatomy, perspective, lineart, and things I can't draw (buildings, machines, etc.) Therefore, please don't use my art without my permission. Don't use any for reference, either. I'm not that good. Mediums I use include colored pencils, .07 mechanical pencil, pen, oil paints, and digital. The brand for colored pencils I use are Fantasia, because in my opinion Prismacolors are too soft and rip through my delicate layers. I use card stock for paper because it's very smooth and resistant. I'm not that good with pens because I need to improve my lineart. I use Faber-Castell artist pens or Sakura. I haven't uploaded any of my oil paintings because they're too large to scan. My digital art software of choice is Paint Tool Sai. I still need to try out a proper tablet.

I often do fanart of my various fandoms, and unfortunately I'm not very stable when it comes to a fandom so you probably should watch me for more reasons than just for fanart of a specific fandom. Such fandoms include: The Legend of Zelda (game series), Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel (book series), Bleach (manga series, I don't do fanart of this anymore but I still appreciate Bleach for getting me to start drawing humans), and Soul Eater (manga series, I don't do fanart of this anymore either). I also sometimes make comics, but I'm currently too busy for that too.

I don't do commissions, because I don't really feel I'm ready. My art still has much to improve, as stated before. But I do sometimes (rarely) take requests so long as it's appropriate, something I can draw, and with reference. It will take a while, and will probably not be as good as my best artwork. I retain the right to choose what medium I'll use and to deny it for other reasons (i.e. I'm too busy, I'm not interested/I know nothing about the subject, I've already drawn something for you). I may consider art trades.

As for my ID picture, Lapis and Lazuli are old original characters of twin dragons who represent me. As you can see here, Lapis often is neccessary to keep Lazuli in check with her handy-dandy mystical hammer of common sense. Lapis, the purple one, is serious and calm, and usually wears glasses. On the other hand, Lazuli is very goofy and is the yellow one. They almost always are seen attached together.
