Even though he did not know her very well, he invited her to his sleepover party after he had accidentally upset her during the school day. He did not know that she didn't care much for pineapple pizza, but it didn't matter after several goofy games- in the end, he was forgiven.
I went this idea after scrapping my first though I was already in the coloring process. These two are of my own creation. The contest deadline forced me to rush this picture, so I'm not happy with it, including with the uninteresting colors and unbalanced layout. Ah well.

Aww, so sweet. I love the overal execution, even though the perspective is a bit off. Still whole image is complete, gradients and colours work great together, it's a pleasure to follow all the details. And oh, all the highlights and shades. Truely beautiful illustration
